AWH Shop / Holiday Shipping
So it turns out Christmas is next week, or so we’re told. Today is the last day we ship domestic orders that will be sure to get under the tree in time, so just a friendly reminder to get your order in- we’ll be shipping out around 3 PST.

New Projects / MTV EMAs Map + Toyota 2012 Icons
Couple new projects on the site.
Had the pleasure of working with Patrick Fry creating a map of Belfast for the MTV EMAs. This map was printed in the show’s VIP catalog. Also, are some icons we created for Toyota’s 2012 line. Always enjoy the icon work. Always thankful. View them on the site.

New Project: Dragonborn!
In anticipation of it’s release next week, I illustrated a Skyrim desktop wallpaper.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is an open world RPG based around the main characters efforts to defeat a dragon god who is prophesied to destroy the world.

Birds at Work
Photo by Irene Archambault This one made our day: Little Finn pointing at the birds he knows at the Nashville Zoo at Grassmere’s Bird Awareness Day last weekend. We’re told he was a fan of the “Pekalin”. We made a special edition of the Birds of the World print just for the occasion, and are happy to see it in use teaching a new generation of wildlife explorers.

In Radiolab We Trust

Moose Migration Sale

FUD Friday
It’s been a busy few weeks here at AWH, so we’re spending this sunny friday doing some fun side projects, playing video games and eating cheez-its. That’s how we do.

This week we received our copy of Data Flow 2, which just as the first Data Flow book, is a great resource full of amazing information design- we’re honored to have made it in. If you can’t find it at your local bookstore, it’s available on Amazon.
World Tapir Day!
Ah man, I know I’m way too late to the party, but today is World Tapir Day. Pictured is my personal favorite of the tapir species, the magnificent Brazilian Tapir.
Seriously though, Tapirs are up there with the Giant Anteater and Musk Ox. Epic-animal royalty.

Flags for GOOD
The rad people over at GOOD Magazine asked us to submit a flag based on a neighborhood we lived in. I chose to make a flag for my hometown, St. Albans, VT.
The flag depicts Champ (VT’s version of Nessie) coiled around a Maple tree. Yep, St. Albans is on a Lake that hides a lake monster and is officially the maple syrup capital of the world.
